Patience and Pixels

My love for birdwatching started at my grandmother’s kitchen window. It was our shared ritual, and those quiet mornings together are some of my most cherished childhood memories. Decades later, that childhood hobby has evolved into a lifelong passion. There is something deeply meditative about spending hours in the woods, tracking the sounds and movements of the wildlife around me. I am intimately familiar with the birds of Virginia and endeavor to capture images that do more than just document a species; they freeze the feelings of wonder, stillness, and connection that I first experienced at that kitchen window.
